The Behavior of Love
by Virginia Reeves (Goodreads Author)
An incredibly compulsive, poignant exploration of marriage, lust, and ambition from one of America’s great young literary talents, the Man-Booker Prize longlisted author of Work Like Any Other.
Last night, I have decided to visit my Nook library and binge read titles that I have been hoarding for over two years. I was just in a mood to read, nothing more. Once I finished with a book, I jumped on Good Read and wrote my review. While writing my reviews, I remember that Good Reads have giveaways from Authors and I knew I haven’t entered in a sweepstakes for a while, so I gave it a try. I never win anyways but eh.
I woke up this morning to find out that I won one of the sweepstakes. Yay! I was super excited. The book looks very interesting and I love this genre so yes, I cannot wait to read it and give it a review.
More Titles To Come
I went through a ton of my titles on Nook so I am ready to write the best review on these books. I forgot how quick I can read a 300-page novel. Last night was a good reminder. I did notice that there is a lot of books listed in the romance category with a lot of pornographic narratives. I am starting to question if that is how people view relationships now or what romance book should be about. These type of books really bores me and I am sorry if an Author who uses these languages a lot end up in my reviews under a two-star rating because I believe that a novel should at least have a story to lean on. I’ve actually deleted a lot of titles that filled four chapters straight with erections and how moist a woman gets.
That’s pretty much it for now. I will be writing a disclaimer on what I am reviewing books, movies, tv shows, headlines, and games based on. This way if anyone comes by to read my posts, they will understand what type of standards I have and why the subject got the rating that it did.
Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful night!
